In the rare event that you receive a defective item, it's essential to report it to us within 7 working days of receiving the product. Here's how you can proceed:

  3. Make sure the product is in its original packaging, as failing to do so may delay the resolution process.

Upon receiving your report, Discount Dealz will inspect the returned product and promptly contact you to discuss the resolution.

4. Time Limit for Returns: Act Promptly to Avoid Additional Costs

Please note that returns for defective, unwanted, or damaged products must be reported within 7 working days of receiving the item. After this period, Discount Dealz cannot be held liable for courier fees associated with returns. Act promptly to avoid any unnecessary costs and ensure a smoother resolution process.

5. Assessing Returns: Credit Vouchers for Quick Resolution

Once the returned goods have been assessed by our team, credit vouchers will be loaded onto your respective Discount Dealz customer account. These vouchers can be used for future purchases, allowing you to continue enjoying great deals and discounts.

6. Eligibility for Returns: Conditions and Exceptions

Discount Dealz aims to provide fair returns policies in accordance with applicable laws. Please take note of the following conditions and exceptions:

  1. Defective, faulty, or non-conforming products are eligible for returns as per the Consumer Protection Act (CPA).

  2. Misused or altered products may not be eligible for returns.

  3. For hygiene purposes, the return of underwear and pierced body jewelry, such as earrings, is strictly prohibited.

7. Specific Policies by Product Category: Tailored Guidelines for Different Items

To provide you with a more tailored experience, we 

have specific return policies for different product categories. Please take note of the following guidelines:

Baby Products: All baby items must be returned in their original and new condition. If the items appear used, worn, or without tags upon inspection, we will not be able to process your return.

Mattresses & Bedding: Due to hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns on any opened mattresses or bedding. This includes items such as duvets, pillows, mattress toppers, and more.

Jewellery: For hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns on any pierced body jewellery, including earrings.

Food, Beverages & Flowers: Perishable items like food, beverages, and flowers are non-returnable.

Clothes, Shoes & Watches: Clothes must be returned unused and in resalable condition, with all tags intact. If clothes appear worn or without tags, we cannot accept returns. Please note that certain types of clothing, such as underwear and swimwear, are non-returnable for hygiene reasons.

Health & Beauty: We cannot accept returns on items where packaging seals have been broken, considering hygiene and safety reasons. This includes all adult paraphernalia.

Furniture – Outdoor & Indoor: Returns for self-assembly products that have been partially or fully assembled are not accepted. Additionally, we are unable to accept returns if the furniture does not fit through the doors at the delivery address. Returned furniture must be undamaged and unused.

Electronics: For returns on electronic items, please ensure that all accessories, manuals, and original packaging are included. To protect your privacy and data, kindly delete all information from returned electronics and reset them to factory settings. Discount Dealz will not be responsible for any data contained on returned items.

It's important to note that failure to comply with the provisions of this Returns Policy may result in the refusal of returns or additional fees and expenses.

Refund Policy

For eligible returns, we offer refunds processed within 7 business days of receiving the returned product. Here are the key details regarding refunds:

1. Eligibility for Refunds: To be eligible for a refund, ensure that:

  • The product was purchased within the last 14 days. Unfortunately, if 14 days have passed since your purchase, we cannot offer a refund or exchange.
  • The item is unused and in the same condition as when you received it.
  • The item is in its original packaging.

2. Exempted Items: Certain goods are exempt from being returned, including perishable goods, intimate or sanitary goods, hazardous materials, flammable liquids or gases, gift cards, downloadable software products, and some health and personal care items.

3. Partial Refunds: In some cases, partial refunds may be granted for items that show obvious signs of use, or if the item is returned more than 14 days after delivery.

4. Late or Missing Refunds: If you haven't received your refund yet, please check your bank account first. Contact your credit card company and bank if necessary. If you still haven't received your refund, reach out to us at info@discountdealz.co.za.

5. Sale Items: Only regular-priced items are eligible for refunds. Sale items are non-refundable.

Exchanges (if applicable)

We offer exchanges for defective or damaged items. If you need to exchange your item for the same one, please email us at info@discountdealz.co.za and send your item to the following address: Delpark Building, 2nd Floor, 77 5th Street,

Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift during purchase and was shipped directly to you, you'll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn't marked as a gift during purchase, or if the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will issue a refund to the gift giver, and they will be informed about your return.

Shipping

You will be responsible for paying the shipping costs for returning your item. Please note that shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
